How to find lapis lazuli in Minecraft

The main feature of Minecraft is its mining mechanic. This mechanic is used to extract ores and minerals from the surface of the earth. Most of these are needed to create high-tier items such as weapons, armor, and tools. Lapis Lazuli is one of these minerals.

Lapis Lazuli, a blue-colored mineral, can be used to “ammunition” an enchanting table that enchants weapons, tools, armor, books, and other items. Enchantments can make major improvements to the weaponry and armor of the player. You can also use nine Lapis pieces to create a Lapis Lazuli block, or at most one Lapis piece to make blue dye.

1) Mining

You can mine Lapis Lazuli within cave systems in the Overworld with a pickaxe. Caves and Cliff 2 updated brought about a change in ore generation, distribution, and production for all ores and minerals in the game. Lapis Lazuli can now be found anywhere between Y levels 64 and -64. Lapis Lazuli is most profitable at Y level 0.

2) Crafting

Lapis Lazuli can only be made by placing a block of Lapis Lazuli in a grid on a crafting table. The player will have 9 Lapis Lazuli. These can be used to enchant or turned into blocks.

3) Gifts from the Villagers

Raids can be described as in-game events that occur near a village. These raids are made up of several waves of hostile mobs that include ravagers or illagers. They attack residents of nearby villages.

Raids can be triggered when a player is under the “bad omen” status effect and enters a village. Successfully completing a raid will result in villagers giving Lapis Lazuli to players. This achievement is also known as the Hero of the Village.

4) Trading

Trades can be made with “cleric” villager who can sell three Lapis Lazuli per one emerald at “apprentice” level. Clerics can be found in cloaks near their job-site block. This is where they will find a brewing station.

5) Chest loot

Lapis Lazuli is found in chests that are located in three types of structures. These chests include mineshaft chests with a 14.5% chance of generating; 4-9 pieces Lapis Lazuli), temple chests for villages (25.4% chance of generating; 1-4 pieces Lapis Lazuli) and shipwreck treasure boxes (61.5% chance of generating; 1-10 pieces Lapis Lazuli).

Lapis is available in the Education and Bedrock editions of the game. It can be used to create a variety of items including blue beds, blue balloons and blue carpets, blue concrete powders, blue firework stars and blue wool, as well as glowsticks that emit blue color.

Lapis can be used to make blue-colored banner designs, in addition to items. This requires a loom. Java Edition's exclusive globe banner pattern is an example.
